We cover every major specification. Your tutor matches your board, tier, and mark-scheme language so every lesson points toward exam performance.
Three papers: physical geography (landscapes and weather), human geography (urban and development), and a fieldwork/issue evaluation paper. Most popular GCSE Geography specification.
Two thematic papers and a fieldwork paper. Distinctive in its dynamic world vs. UK geography structure. Strong focus on synoptic links between topics.
Three components: global hazards, changing cities, and a fieldwork investigation. Scenario-based extended writing questions with a strong emphasis on application.

Our tutors cover physical and human geography in equal depth, with special attention to case studies and the issue evaluation paper that students most often underestimate.
Step 1
We start with recent marks, confidence blockers, and the exact exam board so sessions feel personal from lesson one.
Step 2
Tutors connect concepts to examiner language, worked examples, and the habits that turn knowledge into marks.
Step 3
Parents see what changed after each session: topics covered, next steps, and the grade trajectory we are building toward.
Coastal processes and landforms (erosion, deposition, management), river landscapes (erosion, flooding, management), and glacial landscapes. Case study knowledge is essential.
Tectonic hazards (earthquakes, volcanoes), atmospheric hazards, climate change (causes, effects, and responses), and extreme weather in the UK.
Urbanisation trends, challenges in LIC/NEE cities (Rio, Mumbai), urban change in the UK, sustainable urban development — requires current case study knowledge.
Development gap, causes and solutions to inequality, global resource issues (food, water, energy), and sustainable development case studies.
Map reading, graph skills, statistical techniques, and answering questions about students' own fieldwork experience — tested in a dedicated paper.
Students receive a pre-release resource booklet 12 weeks before the exam. We work through the source material together, develop arguments, and practise answering the 12-mark final question.

Case studies must be learned in detail — location, specific data, causes, effects, and management strategies. We build a case study revision pack for each student's specific specification and practise applying them to unseen question contexts.
Geography extended answers require a sustained argument with specific evidence, evaluation of different scales/perspectives, and a conclusion. We teach the structure and practise with real past-paper questions until students apply it automatically.
AQA Paper 3 requires students to engage with the pre-release booklet and evaluate an issue from multiple perspectives. We work through the resource booklet together 4–8 weeks before the exam and build the analytical vocabulary needed for the final question.
Specialist tutors with board knowledge, strong academic backgrounds, and proven grade-improvement records.

Academic Excellence
Families usually want three things: a tutor their child respects, a plan that fits the real paper, and updates that make progress easy to follow.
We shortlist tutors who know the curriculum, teach clearly, and can coach the exact exam habits that lift marks.
Top-university academics and exam-savvy specialists.
Parents see what was covered, what improved, and what needs attention next, so progress never feels vague.
Structured feedback after every lesson block.
Sessions are matched to the student's board, tier, topic gaps, and exam timeline instead of generic subject tutoring.
Board-specific support with a measurable target grade path.
Case studies are essential — they provide the specific evidence examiners reward in extended answers. For AQA, you need detailed knowledge of at least one case study per topic. We help students learn case studies efficiently and practise applying them to different question types.
AQA Paper 3 includes an issue evaluation section where students receive a pre-release resource booklet approximately 12 weeks before the exam. The booklet introduces a geographical issue which the exam then tests. We work through the booklet with students well in advance.
Yes — the fieldwork paper requires students to reference their own fieldwork experience: where it took place, the methods used, the data collected, and what conclusions they drew. We help students organise and revise their fieldwork so they can answer these questions confidently.
Yes — the skills paper tests map reading (OS maps, grid references, cross-sections), graph interpretation (scatter graphs, choropleth maps, histograms), and statistical techniques (mean, median, Spearman's rank correlation). We cover all of these with past-paper practice.
