What our students & parents say

My daughter was struggling with IB Mathematics HL and had almost given up hope of getting a 7. After just two months of weekly sessions with her Combo Tutors tutor, her confidence soared and she went from a predicted 4 to a final grade of 6. The personalised approach made all the difference—her tutor identified exactly where the gaps were and worked through them systematically.

My son started tutoring for A-Level Physics about three months before his exams. His tutor was incredibly patient and broke down complex topics like electromagnetic induction into simple, intuitive steps. He ended up getting an A* which we genuinely didn't think was possible. I'd recommend Combo Tutors to any parent who wants a tutor that actually cares about your child's progress.

We needed help with GCSE Science for my son who found chemistry particularly challenging. His tutor made the sessions engaging and relatable—using real-world examples that finally made reactions and bonding click for him. He improved by two grades and, more importantly, actually enjoys science now.

I used Combo Tutors to prepare for the Digital SAT. My tutor helped me develop a study plan, learn time-management techniques, and practise with realistic mock tests. My score jumped by 150 points between my diagnostic and actual exam. The Digital SAT-specific tips were especially valuable since the format was new to me.

Finding a tutor who understood the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus was a challenge until we found Combo Tutors. Our daughter's English tutor was exceptional—she improved her essay structure, analytical writing, and comprehension skills significantly. She achieved an A* and is now much more confident heading into her A-Level studies.

I was really anxious about AP Chemistry because our school teacher moved through the material so fast. My Combo Tutors tutor helped me revisit topics at my own pace, work through past free-response questions, and build a solid revision strategy. I scored a 5 on the exam and feel well-prepared for university chemistry. Couldn't have done it without them.

Our son's confidence in Maths had completely collapsed. Within a month of working with his Combo Tutors tutor he was actively asking to do extra practice. His grade moved from a 4 to a 7 by the end of term. The diagnostic approach made all the difference.

After the first diagnostic session, the tutor pinpointed exactly which parts of the IGCSE syllabus my daughter was missing. The improvement was steady and measurable — she went from predicted C to a final A*. I wish we had found Combo Tutors sooner.

I was predicted a 4 in IB Chemistry and had basically accepted it. My tutor rewound everything to the fundamentals I had misunderstood and rebuilt from there. I ended up with a 6 in the final exam — completely beyond what I expected.

A-Level Biology felt impossible until I found Combo Tutors. My tutor made complex topics accessible and I went from borderline pass to a solid A. I would not have got into my first-choice university without that result.

I'm really happy with the way my son's Physics tutor explains difficult topics. Electricity and magnetism used to confuse him a lot, but the tutor breaks everything down with simple diagrams and everyday examples. He understands the subject much better now and is a lot more confident.

Physics was honestly one of my weakest subjects before joining Combo Tutors Academy. My tutor explains things in a very simple way and always connects the topic with real-life examples. After a few sessions, I started feeling much more confident, and I was really happy to get an A* in my term exam.
