We cover every major specification. Your tutor matches your board, tier, and mark-scheme language so every lesson points toward exam performance.
The only widely offered IGCSE Additional Mathematics syllabus. Two theory papers, no Core tier — all students sit the same content. Grades A*–E only (no F or G). Excellent A-Level preparation.

Additional Maths sits between standard IGCSE and A-Level. Our tutors cover every topic with A-Level in mind — building the fluency that makes the transition smooth.
Step 1
We start with recent marks, confidence blockers, and the exact exam board so sessions feel personal from lesson one.
Step 2
Tutors connect concepts to examiner language, worked examples, and the habits that turn knowledge into marks.
Step 3
Parents see what changed after each session: topics covered, next steps, and the grade trajectory we are building toward.
Domain and range, composite and inverse functions, modulus function, graphical transformations — foundational for all of A-Level Pure Maths.
Completing the square, discriminant, factor and remainder theorems, polynomial division — all essential building blocks.
Laws of indices, rationalising surds, laws of logarithms, solving exponential and logarithmic equations.
Equation of a circle, tangents and normals, coordinate geometry of lines and curves — more rigorous than IGCSE standard.
Identities (sin²θ + cos²θ = 1, tanθ = sinθ/cosθ), solving trig equations, radian measure, arc length, sector area, and small angle approximations.
Differentiation from first principles, chain rule, product rule, quotient rule, and integration including definite integrals and areas under curves — a major section.
Vector notation, magnitude and direction, addition and scalar multiplication, matrices — addition, multiplication, determinant, and inverse.

Most students meet calculus for the first time in Additional Maths. We build understanding from first principles before moving to rules — so the techniques make intuitive sense and are not just memorised steps.
Proving and applying trig identities is a skill that requires practice and pattern recognition. We teach a systematic approach and build a library of common identities that students can draw from under exam conditions.
Paper 1 is shorter and quicker, Paper 2 is longer with more complex multi-step questions. We practise both papers under timed conditions and teach time management strategies to ensure students complete both papers.

Academic Excellence
Families usually want three things: a tutor their child respects, a plan that fits the real paper, and updates that make progress easy to follow.
We shortlist tutors who know the curriculum, teach clearly, and can coach the exact exam habits that lift marks.
Top-university academics and exam-savvy specialists.
Parents see what was covered, what improved, and what needs attention next, so progress never feels vague.
Structured feedback after every lesson block.
Sessions are matched to the student's board, tier, topic gaps, and exam timeline instead of generic subject tutoring.
Board-specific support with a measurable target grade path.
No — it is an optional extra qualification taken alongside standard IGCSE Maths. However, it is very strongly recommended for students planning to take A-Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics, as it introduces calculus and harder algebra in a manageable context.
Cambridge Additional Maths (0606) is only available at Extended level. Grades range from A* to E — there is no Core tier and no grades F or G. Students who struggle should consider whether standard IGCSE Extended is a better fit.
Yes — differentiation and integration are major components of the syllabus. This is one of the key reasons to take Additional Maths: students arrive at A-Level already familiar with the core calculus techniques.
The content of Additional Maths overlaps substantially with A-Level Year 1 Pure Mathematics. Students who pass Additional Maths find the first term of A-Level Maths significantly more manageable and can focus on deepening understanding rather than learning from scratch.
