Kuwait City A-Level Computer Science candidates are concentrated at British School of Kuwait (BSK) in Salwa (Cambridge International A-Level plus the IB DP route) and New English School (NES) Salmiya (Cambridge), with a number of families at Indian Educational School Kuwait Khaldiya cross-entering Cambridge IAL for UCAS leverage. The capital's character — National Assembly (Majlis Al-Ummah), Kuwait Stock Exchange, KFH and Central Bank corporate-executive families, plus a dense Diplomatic Quarter — means A-Level Computer Science students are routinely targeting Oxbridge, Imperial, LSE, plus Kuwait University main campus in Shuwaikh as a parallel option. The gap is rarely content; it is Paper 2 application questions, A2 synoptic linkage and UCAS personal-statement framing that aligns to a ministerial or diplomatic-family CV. Our Kuwait City A-Level Computer Science tutors are examiners or top-university specialists matched by board and tier, lessons scheduled in Kuwait time around Ramadan, Eid Al-Fitr and Adha, Kuwait National Day (25 Feb) and Liberation Day (26 Feb).
Tell us what your child needs and we'll match a UK-qualified Computer Science specialist in Kuwait City within 24 hours.
Exam boards we cover
The dominant A-Level route at BSK Salwa and NES Salmiya, with Kuwait City families also using it as the Cambridge IAL bridge to Kuwait University Shuwaikh and UK universities. Linear AS + A2 structure with strong international university recognition.
Used by some Kuwait City British curriculum schools. Modular structure means students can resit individual units — useful for Kuwait City students balancing UCAS and US applications.
Smaller uptake, but offered by some schools serving Kuwait City families repatriating to the UK.
Syllabus coverage
Our A-Level Computer Science tutors cover the full specification with extra depth on the topics where Kuwait City students most consistently lose marks.
Arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees and hash tables.
Big-O, sorting, searching and graph algorithms.
Procedural, object-oriented and functional programming.
CPU, assembly, addressing modes and pipelining.

What we fix
How we fix it:Families resident in Sharq, Mirqab or Bneid Al-Qar but attending ASK Hawally, BSK Salwa or AIS Salwa often lose 60–90 minutes a day to commute. We schedule Computer Science sessions late-evening in Kuwait time so they replace, not compound, the school-day load.
How we fix it:The May College Board AP window collides with Kuwait City end-of-year internals. We run a 6–8 week Computer Science prep block from March of timed FRQs and CollegeBoard-rubric drills aligned to the exact UAS Khaldiya / AIS Salwa / KAS Mirqab / GEMS American Khaldiya schedule.
How we fix it:During Ramadan, Kuwait City schools shorten the day to roughly three hours and pause for Eid Al-Fitr. We back-plan Computer Science sessions around the Asimah Governorate timetable so revision continues without overloading fasting students.
How we fix it:The Diplomatic Quarter cohort routinely arrives mid-IGCSE, mid-IB IA or mid-AP unit. We run a structured Week 1 diagnostic against the new school's scheme of work (BSK Salwa, KAS Mirqab, UAS Khaldiya) and close Computer Science gaps before the next assessment.
How we fix it:Kuwait University's main campus in Shuwaikh — College of Engineering, Medicine and Science — admits on grade thresholds that families plan in parallel with UCAS / Common App. We align Computer Science tutoring to both the Kuwait University admissions cut-off and the international applications calendar.
Why Combo Tutors
We tutor across the full Kuwait City school footprint — UAS Khaldiya, AIS Salwa, KAS Mirqab, GEMS American Academy Khaldiya for AP; BSK Salwa for Cambridge plus IB DP; NES Salmiya for Cambridge — so the Computer Science tutor is matched to the exact board and scheme of work your child sits.
Kuwait City families often have one child on AP at UAS or KAS and another on Cambridge or IB DP at BSK Salwa. Our Computer Science bench spans CollegeBoard AP, Cambridge International (IGCSE and IAL) and IB DP HL/SL so siblings share one provider.
We hold sessions for Diplomatic Quarter families through rotational moves, sync Computer Science progress notes across schools, and prep Kuwait University Shuwaikh main-campus admissions in parallel with US and UK applications — all in Kuwait time (AST, GMT+3).
Mrs Reem Al-Mubarak
A-Level Computer Science · Universal American School (UAS) Khaldiya · Kuwait City
Our daughter sat Computer Science at UAS in Khaldiya. Her Combo Tutors tutor walked her through CollegeBoard FRQ rubrics line by line and kept lessons running through Ramadan. She came out of May with a 5.
Mr Christopher Webb
A-Level Computer Science · British School of Kuwait (BSK) Salwa · Kuwait City
We relocated to the Diplomatic Quarter mid-IB and our son had IA gaps in Computer Science at BSK Salwa. Combo Tutors diagnosed them in week one and rebuilt the HL plan in time for the May session.
Dr Salem Al-Saud
A-Level Computer Science · Kuwait American School (KAS) Mirqab · Kuwait City
We wanted Kuwait University Shuwaikh as a parallel option to US applications. The tutor mapped Computer Science prep to both Kuwait University cut-offs and AP — our son got into KAS's MIT pipeline.

My daughter was struggling with IB Mathematics HL and had almost given up hope of getting a 7. After just two months of weekly sessions with her Combo Tutors tutor, her confidence soared and she went from a predicted 4 to a final grade of 6. The personalised approach made all the difference—her tutor identified exactly where the gaps were and worked through them systematically.

Parent of A-Level Student · Manchester
My son started tutoring for A-Level Physics about three months before his exams. His tutor was incredibly patient and broke down complex topics like electromagnetic induction into simple, intuitive steps. He ended up getting an A* which we genuinely didn't think was possible. I'd recommend Combo Tutors to any parent who wants a tutor that actually cares about your child's progress.

We needed help with GCSE Science for my son who found chemistry particularly challenging. His tutor made the sessions engaging and relatable—using real-world examples that finally made reactions and bonding click for him. He improved by two grades and, more importantly, actually enjoys science now.
