James Whitaker

James Whitaker's profile lists Imperial MSc credentials and a specialism in a-level maths & further maths expert. Students can request one-to-one support in A-Level Mathematics, A-Level Further Maths and IB Maths, with teaching matched to the relevant A-Level and IB course requirements.

Lessons follow the Combo Tutors diagnostic-first process. The tutor reviews current work, identifies the concepts or exam skills holding the grade back, and uses those findings to set the next lesson priorities instead of restarting the whole syllabus.

Students can expect live explanation, guided practice and targeted questions linked to their course. Progress is reviewed through completed work and recurring academic priorities, while families can request a different match if the teaching fit is not right.
