Hawally Governorate is the densely-populated heart of Kuwait, anchored by the Tunis Street and Beirut Street commercial corridors and a predominantly Egyptian, Lebanese and Palestinian Arab-expat demographic that places intense academic value on IGCSE results. While American Creativity Academy (ACA) on its main Hawally campus runs a selective IGCSE option alongside its AP CollegeBoard pathway, Kuwait National English School (KNES) Hawally branch sits the full Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (CIE) suite, and Indian Public School Hawally bridges CBSE families into IGCSE for the British-track sibling. The bottleneck Hawally parents describe is exam technique inside the dense Beirut Street commute window — content is covered, but mark-scheme writing for Computer Science is not drilled in class. Our Hawally IGCSE Computer Science tutors are matched by board and the exact ACA or KNES scheme of work, in Kuwait time around Ibn Khaldoun Street commutes and Kuwait National Day on 25 February.
Tell us what your child needs and we'll match a UK-qualified Computer Science specialist in Hawally within 24 hours.

What we fix
How we fix it:American Creativity Academy (ACA) Hawally and American School of Kuwait (ASK) Hawally both sit the College Board AP exam window in early May, colliding with Kuwait Ramadan ~3-hour timetable. We back-plan a 10-week AP Computer Science prep block of timed FRQs, multiple-choice drills and rubric-line walkthroughs against the ACA and ASK pacing guides.
How we fix it:Al Bayan Bilingual School (BBS) Hawally runs the IB Diploma in a true Arabic-English bilingual model — Internal Assessments, Extended Essay supervision and the May exam window land on top of Arabic A or Arabic B requirements. We sequence Computer Science IA drafting and EE check-ins around BBS's Arabic exam calendar so neither track loses marks.
How we fix it:Hawally Governorate has the highest population density in Kuwait, and Tunis Street, Beirut Street and Ibn Khaldoun Street commute windows compress evening study time. All Computer Science sessions run online 1-to-1 in Kuwait time (AST, GMT+3), eliminating the Hawally school-run round-trip.
How we fix it:Hawally schools — ACA, ASK, BBS and KNES — shift to a shortened ~3-hour Ramadan timetable, then pause for Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, Kuwait National Day on 25 February and Liberation Day on 26 February. We rebuild the Computer Science schedule around each window so mocks and the May AP / IB sittings stay on track.
How we fix it:Many Hawally families target the Arab Open University (AOU) Kuwait branch in Hawally alongside AUB Lebanon or AUC Egypt admissions. We brief Computer Science tutors on the Kuwait Private Universities Council criteria and AOU prerequisite expectations so the tuition plan supports both the school exam and the admissions track.

My daughter was struggling with IB Mathematics HL and had almost given up hope of getting a 7. After just two months of weekly sessions with her Combo Tutors tutor, her confidence soared and she went from a predicted 4 to a final grade of 6. The personalised approach made all the difference—her tutor identified exactly where the gaps were and worked through them systematically.

My son started tutoring for A-Level Physics about three months before his exams. His tutor was incredibly patient and broke down complex topics like electromagnetic induction into simple, intuitive steps. He ended up getting an A* which we genuinely didn't think was possible. I'd recommend Combo Tutors to any parent who wants a tutor that actually cares about your child's progress.

We needed help with GCSE Science for my son who found chemistry particularly challenging. His tutor made the sessions engaging and relatable—using real-world examples that finally made reactions and bonding click for him. He improved by two grades and, more importantly, actually enjoys science now.
